About RMXP Unlimited
RMXP Unlimited was first created on the 7th of May 2006, and was originally named RPGXP Unlimited.
It started out as a community on Invisionfree.com. The forum did not have many inactive members, only about three members were active daily. This forum is still around, and can be seen here. One of those members, Emily_Konichi(formally known as SCMike) is now an Administrator.
In early October 2006 the invisionfree forum was left for another forum on a proper host(the current forum). It was first known as RMXP Revolution because we did not like the name RPGXP Unlimited. After the forum was hacked and abandoned by all members, it was restored with the name RMXP Unlimited.
RMXP Unlimted went through a number of host changes. The first was 110mb.com. In early 2007, this hosting service had a ton of problems and was unbearable to run a forum on. 110mb.com made it impossible to export any database data over the size of 200kb, making it nearly impossible to move. The bare essentials of data was collected in CVS form and merged with a default database. We were then able to move from 110mb.com to trap17.com. This new host was very good, but had issues and times and required the Amin to be active constantly. There was a lot of downtime, and as a result an offer by isaacsol was made to host RMXP Unlimited. We accepted, and this is our current host.
