I put this in the news section because he was a very big part in our community. Without him we wouldn't have made it this far.

Kiriashi died a hero by pushing a kid out of the way of a truck running a red light.

If your wondering how i found out

This, is terrible news. I am actually very upset about this. I didn't know kiriashi that well, but I do know he was an amazing member of our community, and was a great staff member.

It's sad to see, a good human being lost to another impatient idiot with a vehicle.
It's an amazing, selfless act, but I wish it didn't have to happen that way.

R.I.P. Kiriashi <3, you will be missed greatly

I don't think I ever had the honor of speaking with him personally, but he was definitely one of the names of the members I noted when scouting this site originally, and one of the reasons I joined here. Such a sad day to hear this news. I can only hope to go as honorably as he did when it's my time to go.

I only had a single contact with Kiriashi. He sent me an e-mail with heartily appreciation, which made me join this community, and also encouraged me to come back to game development after a long time off. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be there and most of my works would still lie dormant in a corner of my mind. I guess he didn't even have the chance to read my reply... Farewell Kiriashi, I hope you're at peace, wherever you might be.

I will remember that he was the first one that made me feel welcome anywhere in the RMXP community, even across several different boards. The best thing about that is the only memories I have of him are good ones. He will be missed. :(

Fuck :'( ... I wondered why he never got online anymore... I scanned RMXPU for a few posts by him but couldn't find any recent ones. When I first read the above message copy I wasn't sure whether or not it was some massive elaborate troll or if it really had happened.. Michael was a dear friend, to more than a few of us, too. I had spent many years with him, Polraudio, Marked and countless amazing others working on random projects, like.. I believe it was called [b]The Collector[/b with Polraudio, and we had planned to make our own project a few days before we lost contact.

Michael was a dedicated Christian and, although I don't sway to any particular religion, I truly hope he's found the Heaven that he deserves. You will be missed, bro :'(

I'm so hurt by this. I was wondering why he hasn't been on the forums lately. Kiriashi was a great friend and a truly devoted member. I will miss him as if he was a brother.

Oh wow, it is sad when we lose members, but the death of a member is something we've never had before. Kiriashi was a good fried here indeed and was an integral part of this place. We will miss his dearly no doubt. Though he wasn't Jewish, but Christian as Tomo2000 has mentioned, I say this prayer for him, our friend:

Ayl mo-lay ra-chamim, sho-chayn

ba-m'romim, ham-tzay m'nucho

n'chonoh al kan-fey hash-chinoh,

b'ma-alas k'doshim ut'horim

k'zohar ho-roki-a maz-hirim, es

nish-mas Mikhael

she-holach l'olomo,

be-abur she-nod'vu tz'dokoh

b'ad haz-koras nish-moso, b'gan

ay-den t'hay m'nucho-so, lo-chayn

ba-al ho-racha-mim yas-tiray-hu

b'sayser k'nofov l'olomim, v'yitz-ror

bitz'ror hacha-yim es nish-moso,

adonoy hu nacha-loso, v'yony-ach

al mish-kovo b'sholom,

v'no-mae omayn.

And in English for those who don't read Hebrew:

Oh G-d, full of compassion,

Who dwells on high,

Grant true rest upon the wings of the Divine Presence (Holy Spirit),

In the exalted spheres of holy and pure,

Who shine as the resplendence of firmament,

To the soul of Michael who has gone to his celestial world,

For charity has been donated in remembrance of his soul;

May his place of rest be in Gan Eden (Garden of Eden/Heaven).

Therefore, may the All-Merciful One shelter him with the cover of His wings forever,

And bind his soul in the bond of life.

The Lord is his heritage;

May he rest in his resting-place in peace;
And let us say, Amen.
