Hey guys, names Kange, and im new! yay obviousness...iv played around with rpg maker a bit, have fun mapping and iv made a few decent ones, but im pretty new at it still. Uhhmm..hmm..always have trouble with intros -.- i have a game idea in mind, but i need help with custom graphics and someone who can event anything. I can map and do story stuff, but i dont really have patience for eventing or spriting x.x if any one can help ill gladly accept it ^^ thanks

COOL! i just joined too, and im pretty much where you are in the exspirance department. Maybe we can help each other in the future. Right now im makeing my own custom tileset from scratch! Friend me if you want! ttyl.

OH! I "KNOW" I cant believe how hard it is to make grass!!! usually what i do is take yellows, greens (of course) browns, and just click like heck!!!

actually what i found super useful is go into gale and select a nuetral color, i used a light green for mine to start. then take it 10 shades darker and use the line tool and draw a ton of random lines so its pretty much more dark then light after, then lessen the lighting by 5 and repeat, do that 4 times, then go back to the darkest setting and do a few outlines to accent the lighter ones, edit a little so that they tile up nicely. if youd liek ill make one step by step to show you ^^ is there a proper place for that o.o or is it ok to do it here? it would be nice to do a tut for peopel :3

go to the forums, and under creativity and design, theres a section that i think is called showcase or art or something, its way at the bottom. Put it there, i think that would be fine. But Ive only been on here for about three or four days, and ive already....SPAMED...(gasping all around)....so i hope im right, cant wait to see it.

mhm ^^ aslmsot done with teh tut the grass isnt coming out like my originals had -.- but itl get the point across ^^ link ya when im done

i do actually ^^ the very begining of my game, its nothing no ones ever done here see? therefore theres no tiles that will fit what i need. *sets down a bag that clings when it hits the table* but if your up to the challenge, the rewards, they may suit you?

well i reckon. first i need a nice cold cave, full of spider webs. i mean a shiz ton. eggs every where, carcasses all over, maybe a few glowy red eyes in the bg at random, add a lil to that effect. then i need an outside forest, very snowy, blizzarding as welll, still full of webs and such, and i need it to transition into just super snowy, no webbing, getting thinner and thinner, of course, that will be alot on the map makers part. did any of that make any sense x.x

awesome. if you can make just a ton of spider webs and such every which way plus some eggs and all that fun stuff, i can lay them over already made cave pieces. need everything from 1x1 tile to a 3x3 to a 3x2 for doorways etc. anythign you can help would be greatly appreciated ^^ also, finished my grass tutorial, go check it out, tell me if theres more i should put and what needs improvement

lol i dont see any webbing though ^^ it does look good though and ill use it for some other caves later when i say webbing, i mean, i cant see the cave anymore, webbing lol, loooots. covered, completely and totally. ill try to find an example
