I'm trying to use a http://signavatar.com rotating avatar, but I can't set the url as my avatar link.
Dafaq.
This forum doesn't allow rotating avatars?

Once you set a url for your avatar the site grabs the image and uploads it to this site, then uses it. It wont be possible to use a rotating avatar from that site. You could make a gif and upload that.
You can use this site to make a gif of images you have.

(Idk why, but I knew it would be you to answer me.)
Nah, I like the Alternating imgs. I'll just have to stick with one avatar for now. Thanks anyways.

Its probably IPB's security system or method. I think that the avatars are imported from the URL meaning the are taken and saved on the server, and since the URL's redirect to random avatars and the actual URL isnt an image, it does not work.

That's strange, because I use it on another IPB-Powered Forum.

Would that RPG Revolution? Coz that forum uses a different version of IPB which we used to use. Though what I said above was just a hunch. Can I have the link to the forum you're referring to so I can do some testing.

I have an account from years ago lol
Yeah its as I thought, only in this recent version of IPB did they change it so the avatars are downloaded from the URL and stored on the forum

You can get past in on RPG Revolution since the URL appears to be an image file.
Sorry I don't have a solution for you. We have a new site in the works that will allow you to link your avatars. Kinda rewriting the settings for IPB and integrating with our own.
