I'm just curious if anyone on here with a PS3 plays MW3? I'm always looking for more people to play with and have my own clan too.

I would love to play! But I will be getting a PS3 for x-mas and the game. Right now I only have it for X-Box.

Sorry don't play online that much and I suck at shooter games. So I just play the storyline, I have it on PS3 though just haven't got around to playing it yet.

Well Crimson when you get it let me know. I'll be sure to add you and you can play with me sometime! Yea just a warning I tend to cuss a lot sometimes and scream at people. Most of the time I just do it because it's funny how people react haha.

It's cool bigace you could still play with me man. Some of the people I play with aren't that good either. It's not about how good you are. It's about playing with friends and just having a good time. Both my one friend's wife and my girlfriend play with us. Neither of them are real good though they are slowly getting better. It just takes time and practice and patience.

Yea I haven't really been playing too much myself either lately. Needa get my own TV then I will play more. But we will def play. I'm off Sat and Sun so we'll be good to play then while Sarah is at work for sure.

Is Modern Warefare 3 good? I'm kind of aprehensive to get it since I got Mw2 and Black ops and I feel like I'm being baited. Wyzrd You know I'm on that PS3, at least when I come home from Chicago on break. Plus Skyrim is shutting down my life right now...

I like MW3. It plays more like COD 4 if you ever played it. It's way different then Black Ops and they've added new things to it since MW2 that make it cool. If you're really worried about it why not rent it from a Redbox or something and check it out?

I think its great. It took what MW2 had and made it better, way better. One of the best things I have noticed is that the guns work different, I've noticed at least. And the maps -- well, honestly I'm not sure I like the maps. I'm a sniper...but online aside, the story alone is worth it. I've been playing online mostly, so I haven't got very far, but in story mode its wickedly fun and awesome. I can't say more without spoiling, but if you are a fan and like shooters, I would recommend it.

Of course you could rent it like Wyzrd said (Gamefly for example ). xD

AC 1 sucks. Revelations on the other hand is good of what I have played of it so far though.

I feel like the Level Design went to shit for MW2 and MW3. Its like, they make the frame of the map, and fill it with shit.
I remember in CoD4 I could use any particular weapon I wanted on each map and usually excel, except maybe Sniping with Vacant.
2 and 3 feel more Assualt, SMG, and Shotgun friendly.

I agree about the levels, especially in this recent game. I feel like there is only one good level for sniping, and its not that good. I didn't care much for Black Op levels either -- its like they just stopped trying on the levels. They should have included at least one big level fit for sniping but could also harbor close-combat etc etc.

I still think its fun though. xD

Someone might gift me the game this Christmas, and hopefully for PS3 as I never once subscribed to XBL, though I own a 360 since launch. I guess I am mostly a gamer that never plays online MP unless it's CoD. I played Uncharted 3's MP only to collect the two online trophies as required per UC3's Platinum and haven't played since.

Concerning whether CoD being the "same" game or not, I still find CoD fun, the MP portion anyway. And each iteration is different.

Finally! I have a PS3, with MW3 and Uncharted 3. It is a bit tricky learning how to work with the PS3, but I am loving it. I played MW3 for a few games and was surprised by how instantly I adapted to the changes. Felt better to me, actually...And Uncharted 3! Amazing. Drake is a little hard to control in this, but I love the graphics, the acting, the characters, the story and even the actual funny humor.

Anyways! Anyone wanna add me or play with me, check out my siggie (sometimes I might be off playing Skyward Sword).

I was going to play Uncharted 3 online, but I needed a pass and the one that came with it -- along with the StorkHawk code -- was completely blank. So I'm gonna contact Sony and see if they help me out.

Good games last night too Wyrzd! I'm not sure how to join clans though...

Oh, and if I don't come on at the same time as our last play, its because I don't have a DVI to HDMI adapter to my PC anymore (well, I do, but it had to be mended to the PC permanently). It will be a battle to win the TV over to play now.

And yes good games to you too! Yea see what you can do about the Uncharted code because I love Uncharted! Is one of my favorite series.

My verdict on UC3:

I am somewhat disappointed in Uncharted 3. It's a great game but it has plenty of drawbacks from UC2 to make it anything memorable. Puzzles that a child could solve (the hardest was the globe puzzle...or the body pieces), plot holes a plenty, and basically, I beat the game in much less than 9 hours when I skip the cut-scenes and the Crushing mode really just doesn't feel...crushing...at all, as a matter of fact I couldn't believe I was playing on Crushing until I went into the menus and check what difficulty setting I was playing. The kill rooms in the game were ridiculously less amusing and seemed to be slapped on to the game for the sake of artificially lengthening the game's story rather than to bring anything meaningful or satisfying. I could list maybe a total of one or two isolated kill rooms throughout the game that were remotely challenging or entertaining. In comparison to UC2, the final boss on UC3 was an absolute joke, a fight that wasn't significantly more challenging than the opening bar fight followed by a short wall-climbing segment and a bullet shot to end the game. It felt underwhelming at best, cheap at worst. UC2 had a more believable story, and a boss fight that was actually somewhat more satisfying when completed on Crushing. Don't get me wrong it's a fantastic game, and ND is the best studio in Sony's stable of game developers, but I was expecting the same charm I could mine from UC2. Where is it? The only improvement from UC2 I can name is the visuals.

How I view the Uncharted series: UC<UC3<UC2

Regarding MW3 I did get it for Christmas, but it's on Xbox...boo. Oh well. The only PS3 CoD I own is BlackOps. MW3 is an ok game but I like BlackOps' story better. I was playing the story on maximum difficulty with auto aim disabled.

Now off to play some Skyrim.

I kind of feel the same way just a little bit. I felt U3's story was just trying to find some other mythical thing they can make a game out of. Also, the final boss battle wasn't very challenging at all. Besides that, I love the game.
