so what i want, is only certain windows of a cms, since i already have the main menu
here they are

the status page
this will show only the first 3 members of the party (and the only)

RTP | Arcatis stat names
HP | HP
SP | MP
STR | ATK
AGI | SPD
PDEF | DEF
ATK | WPN STR
MDEF | RES

the face graphic is under the pictures folder named "character name_face"

the item and skill menu sould both look like this

this is the equipment screen

the "weapon stats" and "armor stats" will show this:

STR: # DEF: # RES: # ATK +: and so on...



thanks a lot, and any part that is transparent should how the map, if you can do that. Posted Image

lol, I guess I'll do it. I guess I'll be working on 4 things now however this one looks like I can do this one quicker then mine SBS and the other menu I'm working on.

I don't know how the Resistence works so I'll see what I can do from there.

and the resistance is the same as MDEF.
or were you talking about something else?

strengths = what elements do less than normal damage
weaknesses = the opposite

One more question as I'm almost done, is that second armor Body armor, Accessories, or Helm? As I'm doing the equipment scene.

armor 1 is body armor, and armor 2 is helm

in my game its named differently though

cool thanks.

however...i was wrong about the equipment. it was shield and body armor. i fixed it tho.
and the status page was supposed to be 3 separate windows side by side.
and the item and skill menu's dont show everything i wanted. well they do, but only when i select an item or skill.
the menu for which character you want to use is weird, because you need to press up to go right, and down to go left.
and the right side of the equipment screen was supposed to be very similar to rtp. you pick the slot you want to change (on top), then you select the equipment on the bottom

edit: i got this error when i tried moved the cursor over a weapon when i tried to sell it

and the pictures i have are to big. 106x106. even if you dont change it, the pic is above the name.
also, the Lv. thing looks the way it does because of the way the creator of my main menu set it up. looks fine there. dont know why its like that.

1) You probably should of been specific about the Item/skill's target window being always visible. As all it looks like that you want me to just change the look of the target window. I can make it viisble though if thats what you want.

2) Ya that was my second problem I couldn't get the selection in the target window to go left and right.

3) Fix the error; go to line 121 and take out everything all of def draw_item_name as its not needed because I couldn't get your:

to work so for now that def is not needed.

4) I'll fix the Lv. and face image.

5) I was having problems with status windows being seperate windows so I gave up and made it one. Sorry.

edit: i deleted that, and it started having a ton of syntax errors with the "end" command things

I think you deleted an extra end or you left and end there.

If it doesn't work I'll fix it when I add it with the rest of the update on friday as I have to get the rest of this stuff done first. Homework.

ok cool

edit: there was another error, that liz helped me fix. the script is written as if there will always be 3 actors in the party, when there arent. she said to change line 155 in window_class from
for i in 0...3
to

for i in 0...$game_party.actors.size


ill tell you of any other errors


edit: there are other instances of
for i in 0...3
on lines 139 and 534 as well
