See how its gone at the moment? I'm currently writing the recent posts hook. You may see a few more over the next few hours.

Could you add a place to submit new status updates under the "Recent Status Updates" hook?

To get it working with ajax would take considerable coding in the IPB files, and I'm really unfamiliar with their framework.. But there must be a hook at there for this, I'll see if I can find one.
