Hi all,

To state the obvious, the forums have been upgraded. The interface is rather different to what we're all used to, some of that due to the theme only partially being completed. What you're seeing now is a mix between the default theme and our old one.

Any errors, feedback etc. feel free to post it in here.

Looks great though the bar on the side of the main forum page that showed all the threads people posted in is gone( or maybe just on my PC.) Still can't delete (justing case of a double post) are own post or is that coming.

Yup the latest posts hook was deleted, I'll try and fix that up later.

Members don't have permission to delete their own posts. The main reason for this is that a disgruntled member (and we've had them before) decide they hate the forum and go on a deleting rampage.

Okay I just notice that you just made making post a lot smoother then before. Before when I tryed creating a color for the font, it would throw it all the way at the top instead of wrapping it around the word i highlight (which was really irritating). Also expanding the post is a lot easier to, as I can just poll down instead of having to click something.

It's quite common actually. Whenever a member gets pissed at the community, its usually the first thing they do before announcing their permanent leave. Its happened 2 or 3 times here I think.

Well I could change it back to the way it was, like I said I got lazy with the skinning Posted Image You change the header and a few images and viola, you got an RMXPU theme.

Avatar gif's are working because mine is spinning. Try refreshing your avatar? And are u sure its animated? Silly question I know, but for mine, the actual image was not changed, the forums was just stopping the animation.

I didnt do anything Posted Image But I'm glad the upgrade got rid of some of those errors. When I get my bandwidth back, I'm gona see if (for the first time ever) the downloads manager will actually upload something.

I don't seem to be getting my email notifications for threads I'm watching anymore. I have received no notifications for this thread, and only one for another I am following which has had two replies.
It has been a few hours since last reply in the other thread, yet no notification(but received a notification for the reply a few hours before last one). I am sent notification instantly(should), so I don't think it is a delay.

This is a complicated issue. I also get pretty random emails, and not all that I should. I think that sometimes they are sent, other times they are not. It's a rather difficult one to debug too, because it could be related to the host, which I have no access to.

I'll take a look at this, its a important feature that we need to work properly.

I understand. Thank you for quickly addressing my concern. I assumed if it was a bug you must know, but I have my emails forwarded and sometimes they get nabbed as junk before I get them. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't on my end. Thanks again, keep up the good work!

I like the white background, it looks cool. Also I just notice that you added tags to threads now.

Thanks for the feedback :) The tags actually came with the upgrade. Pretty useless for SEO though since google doesn't use meta keywords anymore, but hopefully the tags are used in the forum search system.

Also, my apologies for an error which hid the top bar from non-mods

I'm liking the upgrade but the letters in the posts just look a tiny bit too close to each other. It's hard to see where one sentence ends and where the other begins.
Besides that, the forum is looking beautiful.

Lol I'm sorry, I didn't answer your question because I have no real answer. All I did was a bit of skinning and an update, nothing major at all (on my part). If i were too guess of what new updates are coming, I would tell you my organized content (Scripts, Tuts, Utilities), finish the engine starter topics, a new homepage, and fixing the project cards. But I probably can't do any of that this week because I have to get a website up live before the end of the week.

Oh really, and your not zoomed out or anything? I can expand the letter spacing a bit in CSS I think. EDIT: I actually see what you mean now. I increased the font-size, any better?
