So I've been watching a lot of tutorials and for some reason when i do anything that is stated in the tutorials, i get an error that crash's my test play game, and Since i'm new im very confused. I'll keep trying and let everyoone know what other problems i encounter, if anyone can help or if there is a guide to getting started please let me know, as i have searched and read the extended text.

Thanks :)

Lets start with your version of Windows and ask if you are running it as Administrator...

I would actually first suggest you get a handle of RPG Maker XP before you try using sdks like the pokemon starter kit, which are much more complicated than the default RMXP.

Our tutorials http://www.rmxpunlim...rmxp-tutorials/

Beginners guide: http://www.rmxpunlim...eginners-guide/

Though I found screwing around with it for a days more helpful than reading tutorials myself.

Thank you for all the help but to answer some things, I've actually used rpg maker xp alot, but i wanted to make my own pokemon game for my friends to download and play and such when they are board, i know how to do all the things on rpgmaker xp, just the pokemon thing is way more difficult lol, creating trainer battles on there has a lot to it. so I'm a bit confused.

There is some documentation on the SDK here:

http://pokemonessent...Essentials_Wiki

As well as various tutorials. Hope that helps. Also the user joman has used the kit before, so he might be able to answer some of your questions.
