When I post a comment in the status on the forum page it duplicates my comment and then when I try to delete it, it sends me to an error page.

Well I only see one comment, so here's my hypothesis. You probably have a tendency to double click links, and/or click on things again if it appears as if they are not loading. So that would explain the duplicate comments. As for the error page, you didn't say what it said, so I'm assuming it appeared because you tried to delete something that you had already deleted, due to the multiple clicks.

Try to make sure that you are clicking things only once, and see if the problem persists.

Maybe its your internet connection. Sometimes i will get a dupe comment because my internet had a hiccup.

How often does this happen?

After you see the error page, when you return is the status gone? It may well delete but then take you to an error page.

Also, when you update your status it appears all ajaxly. Ie it inserts a row into the database but just displays what you typed and after you refresh, it will show whats in the database. So technically you could get 2 statues temporarily.

Nope, I didn't double click and it takes me to that page regardless.

I wouldn't say internet so much because I do need to add another 2GB RAM to my computer as its moving very slow and that effects my internet. So you maybe right though.

I guess were just going to ignore this?

Anyways, here's a image of the double comment and an error that pops up when I tried to delete it.

I don't know what the error is because as soon as I click it nothing happens and it just sends me to the Recent Status Update page. Also that error page its self seems to be gone though.

My guess it would go away after a bit. I would just ignore it when it happens again.

If I am correct then it will go away as soon as you refresh. Only one person in the world can possibly see it because it has appeared client-side in that one browser on that one page.

Also, I don't like working in IPB and I'm not familiar with their code. I install very few mods and mostly make my own on the website. Basically to fix a 'default' forum error would take me a long time, and I'm not even admin anymore. Of course I'd fix a major issue, but even this forum software is outdated and perhaps all it would take to fix is upgrade. I guess that's the typical response of someone who doesn't have a lot of time...

Well if there's no easy way around it, I guess we'll have to live with it until your new site is up.

That could be a while.. I could upgrade the forums but then I'd have to skin it again. And I've also given up doing that admin stuff *looks at sidebar* just the owner now. I highly recommend nagging at Kiriashi and Pol to get stuff done. Highly recommend.

Yeah its all normal aside from the double submit. Obviously you're clicking just once?
