I downloaded Zombe's mod pack, and i need help installing it. i can't even open minecraft.jar
i have windows 7

Use Winzip or Winrar to open minecraft.jar.

right click minecraft.jar and select open with --> 7zip. Then drag the mod files into minecraft.jar.
And if you are using mods I reccomend this: Mine Colonies..

with most almost all mods, you need to delete the META INF folder inside minecraft.jar but the mods instructions should say if it is needed or not

i read the readme.html that cam with the mod, and it had that it there. thanks tho.
