As I have discussed in the dev blog and on the forums, I have gone ahead with the plan to merge the Game Development forums into the core categories, so there are no engine-specific forums.
Aside from forums such as Tools & Utilities and Game Dev Discussion (which can use prefixes), the others require a prefix in order to post. So if you need help or you're posting your project, you're going to have to specify what engine it is for. And all these types of topics for all engines go in the one forum.
This will allow us to make way for more engines as well, all we need to do is add the appropriate prefix.
Another advantage of this feature is, now that all topics are marked what engine they're about, we can easily revert to any forum structure without the need to sort topics.
If anyone has any trouble or queries about the new system, or would like to suggest an engine to add to the prefixes, then this is the place to post.

Indeed. I like things much better now. However as anticipated, I feel like there's less indicators that we're more than an RMXP forum. However, currently most users on the forum are RMXP users, everyone here likes XP. But to survive and boost activity we need to tap into other markets so to speak. Perhaps this system makes that a little bit harder.
