Hi all,

We have just done a little upgrade of the software.

There are some cool new features. Most notably is the status updates which are now logged and have comments, the search, and the notifications in the user navigation box. There are tons of other features around the place, check out your settings too.

Normally I wouldn't announce something like this and just do it. However the upgrade was pretty bumpy, I've spent quite a bit of time already trying to fix bugs. You probably can't notice but we're using a completely redone skin which I made today.

This topic is for bug reporting. Anything out of the usual you can report here so I can get on it to clean up the place and complete the upgrade.

...That explains the sudden ability to comment status messages, lol. Coolz.
EDIT: Dunno if its just me or not, but just noticed that the banner on top (you know, the sparkly thing) vanishes half the time when you go to the main forum page. Like, all you can see are those moving specs and nothing else.

The banner disappears and the text turns blue and very big. Once I refresh again, everything is back to normal.

Well refreshing doesn't work for me apparently, oh, and also at the bottom of the page there's (2 I'm guessing) database errors. Not sure what was there to begin with, but its below the online list and birthday stuff. Figured I would point that as well.

Ah ok.. I was aware of the banner disappearing issue immediately after the upgrade. It is certainly the database error that causes it because it's always down there when that happens. The reason it screws up the style of the whole index is strange. I'll just try to fix the database error that's happening, and if I can, the conflict or whatever is causing the styles to screw up.

I'll post on progress on this issue. If there are any others, post 'em here :)

Well, I've had a few errprs where the download, reply and some other buttons disappear when I hover over them, reappear when I click somewhere or hover over any of the other buttons, and continue this cycle. It's SOOOOO annoying. Thanks.

Well you could bookmark the site instead of using a search engine to find it. We can't really help you with that error because you're not trying to access the site directly and we can't rule out an external error. So just use rmxpunlimited.net in your url bar.

I went on the forums page and the banner only had the bubbly animation effect and not the pic....:/ Also, I think we should have a disable/enable emoticons feature, because sometimes when you want to do things like this >: O they have to be spaced and or they turn out like this >:o....

I'm working on the bubbly no banner issue. I know exactly what it is but just don't have the solution yet...

As for emoticons, that's the only way to show them. Each has a code like that. I think you can disable them in your settings so you can only see the plain text, but everyone else will see emoticons. Just be creative and come up with ones that arn't used for emoticons :)

That's good. It's actually occurs on the index when the forum is trying to update the topic markers table. It thinks its not there, but it is, and I think the actually display of the error messes up the forum. So in fact thats an error from an error. How troublesome.

You sure it was an error? I mean I never saw the banner go away even when someone first brought it up. I think you all are smoking some heavy $h!t.

Related Update: As I stated in the first post all of the mods were overwritten which made most of them stop working. This includes the points system so no one has obtained any posts since this upgrade but it's working again now.

Is that banner/bottom part of the page still being worked on? I'm just still noticing the missing banner thing as well as those two "database" errors at the bottom...
(oh, on the main forum page anyways)

I'm getting this error as well. I'm sure Marked is fixing it.
