Yup its certainly the code. It's very strange however that some functions work in opera while others (class selection) does not. To be honest, I'm not keen on opera. I suppose I'll download it and test it in that browser as well... dont have much of a choice. I thought firefox dominated.. really suprised there are so many opera users here. Oh by the way, remember what page you got that error? Its a query thats not running for some reason.. I'll need to know which page you got that error so I can fix it.

Oh, yeah... this may surprise you, but I've done a heck of a lot of testing. With many accounts. I made it offline so when i write the code its ready to test immediately. The only issue here is browers and the double submit error which i was aware of but forgot about. This works perfectly in firefox.......

Well perhaps it's time to fix it and do a Open Beta test. After all you know what they say, "you may catch some of your own mistakes, but others will find many!"

I actually broke my laptop charger last night and without my test site I can't really do any proper testing or file edits... If anyone loses any points due to an error, please report to me either in this topic or via PM so I can fix the error and give your points back to you.

How about the 50 points I lost testing it in Oprea by making a withdrawl...

I've looked into a battle system made in flash using the info this plugs into the database, but its unlikely I will ever be able to code a battle system... I would have to learn Action Script and I'm not that bored.. :)

Thanks, I'm glad you like it :)

Update: I got my laptop working so I worked on this a little bit. I have changed the class selection screen a little bit so now you have to click a button, and also what happens when you click the button. If anyone wants to see/test you will have to post here so I can remove your current class. I have also fixed the double-submit issue. This means you can click any button such as buy/sell and withdraw/deposit as many times as you like and the form will only submit once. So den's problem where he deposited all his points twice cannot happen.

I can't really think of any other bugs... depending on whether it works properly in Opera now.

Why not instead of of charging people to take money out, why not do it when the put it in....like 10% of what they put in or something like that.

The percent of the deposit is a good idea... but why charge to deposit over a withdrawal?

Firefox?! Well this is ridiculous, Opera is the fastest browser.

But this error code I found when running Chrome on the Classes page. Fun in the fact that it does not run all the classes (Thief and Knight accurately), but for Warrior it's okay.

Although it is possible that I missed the time...

P.S. No, I'm not missed. I'm see this on shop if I used Chrome:

Quote

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /mounted-storage/home90a/sub009/sc47804-NPGF/rmxpunlimited.net/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344

Cause found: This error code only seen when Shop used by not logged member.

so... the point of this feature is what? deposit points, buy weapons, and do nothing with them? I'm sorry, but Its not the least bit amusing, and quite pointless.

Actually, Chrome is, but I do use Opera from time to time. I Use FF, Chrome, Opera, and the occasional IE to test websites ive made.

The point of it is a shop. Members have shown they wanted one with 100% of the votes in this poll: http://www.rmxpunlim...4383-rmxpu-shop

Secondly, its for doing something with the points that members earn. The ability to equip the items and having stats may be pointless, but they're built around the shop which is what the whole thing is about.

I wasn't trying to amuse you, Chief ;)

I play Mafia Wars so that's what I'm used to; they call it a 10% laundering fee. Plus it makes sense because for example If I put say 1,000 ponits in the bank at say a 10% deposit fee I would have 900 points to use instead of losing money every time I make a withdrawal. It just makes FAR more sense to me.

I think I would have to go with Marked on the withdrawl fee. Your comparing it to Mafia Wars (which I do play) which is based solely on criminal activity so yea a laundering fee makes sense.

This is more of a regular shop/bank which would not charge you to make a deposit. Or if you do have a bank account that charges you for a deposit you need a new bank asap. Now I understand a bank won't charge you for a withdrawl but some ATM's will so that makes far more sense to me.

No, I have been with many banks and NON charge a fee to take money out. My point here is it makes sense to do it when I put it in that way I know I have 160 points and not 110 because of some withdrawl fee. I just used Mafia Wars as an example for percentage use and the fact that I know what I have in the bank is ALL mine and no further math is needed to see how much I would lose. I mean this fee is nice for those with LARGE amounts in the bank, but when you get down to smaller amounts it becomes a issue.

Notice I didn't say they charge money to take money out. I said some ATM's. Read a little bit more and you'd see that.

That doesn't really mean anything. I mean ATM is diffrent then a bank and I get all fees refunded back to me by my bank any way.
