It was a suggestion and I have already showed you that RPG Maker is a trademark (registered or not it is still protected). Better to change it and cloud your mind thinking "no one will bother the little guy." This is business and if a small or large company sees you making a profit off of their trademark it could get ugly.

Yes their are. For example if you live in the USA you need a business license to sell a service or product or the government may knock on your door come tax time. Not to mention filling a DBA, registering your own trademark (or save money and don't). There are plenty which shows you have not done the most important thing RESEARCH.

This is not true at all. I could come up with plenty of names and Google could help me find if they are being used or not. Example when I decided to start a business its name changed plenty of times for different reasons:
1) Dragon Eclipse Studios --- changed because the overall URL was way to long.
2) Ryu Interactive --- changed because I did not like the sound of it.
3) Magix Studios --- changed because the name sounded like we delt with animated films (like Dreamworks).
5) Medevil Studios --- changed because medevil.com was taken.
6) Mad Klown Entertainment --- What it is now.
Yes naming a business or product is hard, but it doesn't take a long time.
I say Just call it LastEnd RPG. After all Stencyl's name doesn't really say, "hey you can make games with me." Why add MAKER or anything behind RPG. It would make you unique and stand out. Also:
1) http://www.trademark...aspx?tn=LastEnd
2) http://www.trademark...?tn=LastEnd+RPG
If I where you I would just use one of them. I mean heck your domain name is just LastEnd.

Considering "LastEnd RPG" the only problem is that it could be mistake for a game name.
I beleave I have a great name is mind. Just dont want to say it yet.

On a lighter note I've been IOing the particle system, and so far Its working great. My next step is to link particle emitters to Spells.

1) GOOGLE it or use any search engine. The quickest way to see if it is possibly available.
*Okay so it did not show up in Google to anything relevant...
2) TRADEMARK search. The internet is pron to many paid and free trademark search sites. Some can also do international trademark searches. Doesn't matter if you live in the US or not brand an item using a name to a major foreign company (which probably has a branch or division in the US or other country) and well they may come knocking.
*Okay so trademark is good right? Wrong...
3) DOMAIN SEARCH is also good as well as most people do not know that a domain name can be trademarked. If the domain name is not in use it's more likely not in use as a product or business name. If you are told it is taken visit the site. If a place holder page is there you might be able to buy it; of course keep in mind some people buy domain names to resell them for outrageous prices.
Research is the key here as people think that, "they won't bother me I'm just some dude in my bedroom," and then they get a wake up call. Reason being if they see a way to make more money (and in some cases a lawsuit can do this) they will do it.

if it was me, I'd keep away from forums like that, because no matter what you show them, theyll just throw it right back at your face with some other crap to go on about

the only issue I've had so far is when i fail a level in Maze (1st lvl this was) I clicked menu and it fullscreened BUT the mouse curser and game curser where out of allignment. E.g. mouse curse is centred to the screen, ga,me curser is positioned to the far left but that only happened once so no worries as it's in beta
