Ok everyone, I have an update for you. The next version of the Project Card Generator is out! Special thanks to Chief (for the theme he made) and CrimsonInferno for making me make a theme viewer. And her themes should be added in there soon. With the new version you can view the themes BEFORE you generate the image. They do take a while to load, but they have to reasonably high quality because they are actual themes used in the image generation. In the next version I will make an advanced theme system where it will simply read the image directory.

There are also some new VX themes made by me. I'm really pleased people are using these in their signatures

I think what would be good for the Project Card generator, is different fonts, and Unicode Support for odd characters (in my case Japanese )

Mostly they are jsut made from filters, and honestly, not that great.

@The Hooded Man: Yes thats a good idea. In fact I considered changing to that domain temporary since the option was available to me. I'm also considering your idea of moving classes there as well.

@theme submitters: Every theme you post here will be added, I promise! So many of you are requesting features and I really want to include them in there. The features are such that I'm going to have to rewrite the code a little bit and its going to take some time. I want to get some ajax going so you can see you card being created literally as you type, but I have only just started researching how to do that. I'm also holding off adding in any more themes until I am able to complete idea of automatically picking up themes. That simply means themes are included in the component simply by existing in directories, and so I dont have to manually create form fields for every single theme.

Since you guys are being awesome and giving me themes, I'm going to spend a lot of time later tonight and try and release a new version with all these features. Because of Chiefs cool forest theme, I will add the option of font color changes.

@isaacsol: I'll try and get japanese fonts too. I need to install asisan fonts on my computer, but my windows xp cd is playing up on me. Although I'm not sure if i need to type using the japanese fonts in order to test a japanese font(if that makes sense).

@CrimsonInferno: Those are the RPG Maker VX characters, you see them when you load RPG Maker VX, you know? I got the largest desktop theme they had and cut them out. I'm going to use them in some website themes. I'll give them to you guys if you want them. I'll post the psd and a png(coz i know you use gimp):

Thanks Marked. I haven't used VX in a while, I don't like it as much as I like XP. Although, the only drawback in the tiles. Thanks for giving a link! ^.^

Update:

New version is complete!

New Features:
-Automatic Theme Reading(themes are read directly from their directories, not coded into the component)
-PNG and GIF support for themes(previously only themes saved as .jpgs could be used)
-Font color options(white or black)
-Extra font choice
-All of themes added from this topic, categorized by your usernames(36 themes so far).

In the next version:
-Image generation immediately as you fill out the form/alter settings(using ajax) - hopefully.
-Compact version (requested by Arkbennett)
-Japanese fonts/support (requested by isaacsol)


@Agckuu_Coceg: You gave me heaps of themes, so I chose 3 of each color and tried to include every logo you included in them.

Note: The more features and options this thing has, the more likely it is to screw up. I did a lot of testing, actually generated over 200 images on my test board. But I'm sure if you try hard enough you make it crack, so I need all errors reported, preferably back in this topic.

Also there is one weakness I can't overcome at the moment. The way this picks up themes is by reading directories, and it orders them by however the system stores them. Whatever the heck that means. So I am unable to choose which themes come first. And an important feature of this component is that when you generate your image, all your settings are saved so you can make tweaks. However you chosen them is NOT saved unless the default theme is the first theme displayed. In the case its 2nd, so its only faulty for one theme. I will try to fix this in the next release.
