You may have noticed a new forum within the RPG Maker category: Story & Characterization Support

This forum is basically writing and creativity support: Critique and Support on the writing stages of making your game. From plot to characterization get advice, help, or just plain old Critique!

It was an idea of Hebi's, and he will be moderating the forum. Hope you guys use it.

Fast Reply
If you reply to this topic, you will notice that the fast-reply has been ajaxified. This simply means that you can reply to a topic without the page reloading when you click 'Post'. Others posts should also appear on the page after you reply, but I'm still testing it.

Recent Posts Hook Removed
I have removed the recent posts hook which showed the latest 10 posts in the sidebar. The reason is that I have a feeling members are being lazy and only using the hook to find new posts. This system is really inefficient and topics are going to be looked over in times of high activity. Instead I'm urging everyone to instead use the link on the Board Panel, or old fashion looking at the last posts of the forums.

You can argue with me on this one, but only if you deny using the recent posts hook as your only way of looking at new posts.

Like the new updates. I think the new support area is a very good idea and will get lots of use.

For those who relied on the Recent Posts just remember you now have to manually look at them...or just click the NEW CONTENT link ( http://www.rmxpunlim...t-new-post.html ). That's what I always use as I get new posts,new topics, new gallery images, etc shown.

I doubt many members will do it 'manually', but there are links at the top of the forum which allow you to view all the new content. I stated in the first post where to find the link, it shouldn't be a problem. And there is also the exact same latest posts module on the website which is based of the recent posts hook. Besides, it's really hard to know what to do without feedback.

Perhaps we I could help in some form or another. I'll send you an PM explaining what I mean. After all Marked sometimes you need to do something the other sites (hbgames, creation asylum, etc) are not doing.
