. I must admit this topic needs a bump and for me to update it some more
. I've been working on Apocolyptica quite a lot and am planning the next town for Hope Afloat. This town has quite a considerable ammount of a plot so I gotta plan quite carefully.
Thanks for the support, it's nearly been a full year since I started working on this game. 24th of July, to be exact. I did make a new-years resolution to finish Hope Afloat by the end of the year and I get an extra 2 weeks Christmas Holidays
. Mid-year holidays in 2 weeks or so, and then I'll be able to pass some ideas around with Lee and maybe Greg and figure out how to work out this next chapter.

. Especially Kiriashi for mapping help and fixing up some of my maps and Leon for helping me with some pain-in-the-
scripting errors. And, of course, to everyone's whos played it and supported me along the way.

Maaaan... 10th June 2010? That was ages ago. Anyway, guys, I'm back
Hopefully I'll be on really regularily again. Hopefully none of you saw that this topic had a new post in it by me and was like 'YAY NEW VERSION' coz you'd be rather disappointed
sowwy. No new updates or cities. Mainly still working on a remastered one... Although I have barely touched it as of late... Anyway, hopefully I'll start updating it rather decently over the next week or so and, at least, make the first town playable by the end of the week (no promises though... I'll be rather busy). 2 more maps and some system improvements, not to mention I REALLY need to update the first post anyway. I went to the topic and was like 'Jeeez its old...' So, yeah, hopefully I'll get a few replies. To anyone who hasn't played it before (7 towns so far, I think), I'll reupload it to mediafire so you guys can play it and tell me what you think.
With the remastered version, there are some serious system and graphics improvements. There'll be more to do in the way of gathering weapons, exploring, doing missions, visiting towns, and more storyline to indulge in. Hopefully its an enjoyable (and moving, if I can get the storyline running smoothly) experience. Thanks for all the help from Kiriashi (Miss you tonnes man... ), Leon for scripting errors, everyone who's given me inspiration and played the game

I was wondering what that thread was waaaay back when about the zombies where we all created characters was called? i think it would make for a great forum community project if we did one of those as a game

Its called "RMXPU VS The World" or something... Or was that in the sub-name thingo... Anyway, its actually pinned (yayz
) in the Interactive Story Telling forum, so it'll be up the VERY top
. Makes meh happy. Yeha, it would be a good community project, but hard as hell... Especially when some people like being heroes, so actually making those scenes would be really hard.. I was tempted to start another one but I didn't think I'd be on enough to continue it.

Well I was thinking on creating a similar scenario and kinda create events *could be like 5-10 per person assisting* and have them either be random or set at specific intervals so that no 2 play through will be the same. Like we let them pick their class and skills in the game and say for one of my events it was "You hear a creaking noise from the ceiling. A voice calls down, ITS solshadow (or w/e my chars name is)! He invites you into his secret base in the roof" and then you get taken to a secret map that you cant access without activating that event. And there would be some for everyone in different places O_O this could be glorious lmao whoa...sorry for ranting

And sorry for not replying as soon.. Had Hope Afloat, actually, in full-screen, testing out new graphics and a new map (improved segment of Hope Afloat).
