To let you all know, Marked has resigned as administrator and given me the reigns. Now, this is the first time I have ran a forum, so I will do my very best. If you have any comments or questions, please post. I would rather hear your opinions.

I hope he will stay around.

On another note I congratulation you on becoming an administrator and wish you luck administrating RMXP Unlimited.

It has nothing to do with bisexuality. He is trying to steer away from the computer usage. He said he might be back, but there is a slim chance. But I assure you all, it was a personal choice, and had nothing to do with any member on the forum.

I dunno...I mean, he said he was homophobic, so he hates gay people...and said that now he didn't think he had any reason to be here...since I turned out to be gay in part...and he hates gay people, he can't be around me...with no reason to be around anymore, he resigned...unless he told you specifically something different...but I don't see why his last post would be "I have nothing left here, I'll come back if Blazinks comes back" if it didn't mean he hates me...and as I was his only reason for being around (he said so himself)...

Homophobic does not mean that you hate gay people. Thats an extreme that is often misunderstood. It really stands for feeling awkward around homosexual people and not being able to understand how two guys or two girls could love each other, despite society's predominantly Hetero-views.
Besides, how could someone be homophobic about a person online? There is no physical contact or vision of the other person whatsoever. Its pretty impossible.

Well, I suppose it was a good decision. But, all of a sudden, Marked just decides to quit. That's a little retarded. But, hey hopefully Leon, you can do a good job.

Yeah, he said and I paraphrase here: 'I might even close down the Forum, because of this.' The next closest thing to doing that, is quitting. If he spent the money on buying this Board, and he just suddenly doesn't care; is calls for suspicion. And why I find it dumb, is like Satiel said, you can't even see the person. If the person starts making sexual remarks towards you, you just tell them kindly, to stop. And if they don't this is classified as harassment, and then you can take whatever action you think is appropriate. Blocking the person, deleting the sexual remarks, etc. And from my point of view, I don't think SC Mike has made any sexual remarks or anything of the sorts towards Marked, so their was really no reason for him to leave. I find that dumb that he would do such a thing. It's a shame really.

If you guys most know, he gave up RmXP, and wants to spend less time on the computer. He thinks he already wasted 2 years of his life managing forums. It has NOTHING to do with what was posted on the forum.

As for giving me the board, I did NOT ask for it. And I also promised not to say why he gave it to me. I apologize for that to you all.

Yeah, well...if he leaves, he leaves and he can't get back the same respect as some people had for him. In my opinion, a better administrator/keeper of a website should have a thick coating for emotional issues or he/she will collapse. Obviously, Marked didn't have a thick coating which caused him to leave. But lets see how our new administrator can help and produce this site! Congratulations Leon and have fun being in charge.

All I am going to say, is go to the Cafe, and look at his final post (he posted one last message). But all I request is you guys don't drag this out long. I don't want to scare people off cause of all of this. Sometimes you must do what you think is right, regardless of what others think. And you must always act in the best interest of what you believe in. This is why I believe Marked resigned. Now, I will leave this open for the next 36 hours after this post. After that, I am going to close each one, but move them, rather than delete them. Let it stand as a testament that we should not judge each other, but rather respect them. And if you can't do that, do whatever you think is in your best interest.

I am uncertain if Marked will read this, and if he does, if he will get upset. Personally, I see no reason to drag this out and discuss why he left. He left cause he felt it was in everyone's best interest. And SCMike, don't let it bother you. It was his problem that he had to deal with. A disease he wishes he could remove, but cannot. So don't let it upset you that much. I'm pretty sure he would rather we carried on, and do what we do best: Help each other and make games. I would rather see us do those as well.

Now, for the next 36 hours, you are allowed to talk about this if you wish. After that, I request we leave it in the past, and such past should be left in the past.

-nods and sighs- I guess I shouldn't let it get to me...I just...don't think I can keep working without him...I guess, maybe, I came to love him -sighs- being that he was the only one who ever encouraged me...but...that's not for this post...read my last post in the "our-of-gender experiences" topic and you SHOULD understand my feelings...if you don't, then sorry...I've never been good at putting my feelings into words, which is why I never talk to my parents about anything...

I can understand where you are coming from with the 'lack of posts' when it comes to your projects that you post. I have gotten little response with mine as well. Only Marked has said anything about my demo, and nobody has said or, i don't even think downloaded my new script demo. It was something I was hoping to get alot of feed back from. Everyone I sent it to in IM got blown away.

But, don't let that discourage you. if anything, just think 'ok, well... then let's do something to REALLY blow them away.' Trust me, you'll be suprised at what you will make, rather than what you have made. As for proof, take a look at my Skill Level system compared to my new script. Hands down, I think my new one blew away anything i have done.

hmm...yeah...my export import system is certainly something people said would take too much work to make...the funny thing is, it was some of the high level scripters who said it! I did it in 2 hours work...and I don't even know scripting...if I could do it in that, I bet some of those others could have done it in like...10 minutes TOP!
