As the subforum idea seems to not have worked out, we are switching to a new system. From now on it will be required that all topics in the game making forums (except the general discussion) have the following prefixes added to their titles:

[2k] - This is for any RPG Maker 2000 topics
[2k3] - This is for any RPG Maker 2003 topics
[XP] - This is for any RPG Maker XP Topics
[VX] - This is for any RPG Maker VX Topics
[AGS] - This is for any Adventure Game Studio topics
[AGM] - This is for any Action Game Maker topics
[GM] - This is for any Game Maker topics
[C++] - This is for any C++ topics.

If you are using something other then what is above...chances of getting help are slim, but I'd recommend putting in the name of the program (like you see above with the others). I will most likely be adding this to each forum at some point unless I can find an easier way to post it. In either case, just keep this up for all currently running and future topics (I also recommend editing past topics that are currently not being run, but it's not required as they are basically closed and all).

So do we have to try and edit all of the forums that need those, when we make new ones, or both? Also, what does C++ mean again, I forgot :P?

C++ is a general-purpose programming language.

LOL! It is the base of programming for things like video games on the wii, ps3, and xbox. They build on it to make different compilers and such, but C++ is the base. It is also the same as a B- grade in school. xD

For some reason i don't have permissions for the Support area anymore.

It would be nice to be a full mod so i can help a lot more.

You can't edit your titles? Usually if you do a full edit of the first post of a topic you made it lets you chance the title of your topic. That's about the best I know. I dunno why you wouldn't have permission to edit your titles otherwise. I'll look into the problem later when I can. I can't right now...not enough time.

Yea, even in a full edit i cant. Very odd. I even tried in other sections. The only place i can is Contests & Events and subs.

I think all members, or at least people with like, loyal rank or more should be able to edit the name of their topics, and edit it's comments. So you know, we can say [solved].

Yeah, and close our own topics and polls, too. That would cure necro posting, too.

But sometimes Necroposting is good, like Kiriashi and my ROA game :P Whic I still nedd to add more to the game. And for Jesse's skill with the variables and dead allies.

Well complete control, I don't think so. I mean do you want a bunch of noobies running around deleing posts on their topics? People have som- GAH! MIGRAINE!!.....uhh..

Sorry. Anyways, some people have some good things to say. How would you like it if you made a large reply to something and someone just deleted that post?

xD

Maybe not delete, but at least close, being able to close a topic after it's been resolved would end necro-posting forever.

Ok, the topic title editing thing SHOULD be fixed now...a setting was turned off...but I don't know if it will or not, cause the setting was on for the support team, but not for members, and it is polraudio (who is support team) that was having the problem. In either case, though, the support team should now have access to moderate all of the game making forums, like they are supposed to -nods-
