You must have the RPG Maker 2000 RTP installed in order to play.
Final Fantasy: Endless Nova is a free fan-created game by Delita Hyral X and Orochi Kasunagi. It consists of roughly 300 maps, an arcade and a casino with working games, a new stat building system and magic system, and a trade item system allowing the player to acquire rare items.

The game has done away with the tedious process of getting experience and leveling up. Instead, a new, innovative system has been introduced, which increases your stats based on your actions in battle.
HP increase: When a character's HP have dropped below 50% of his/her maximum, there's an 80% chance that the character's HP will increase.
MP increase: When a character's MP have dropped below 50% of his/her maximum, there's an 80% chance that the character's MP will increase.
Strength increase: When a character wins a battle, there's a 10% chance that the character's Strength will increase.
Vitality increase: When a character restores more than 50% of his/her HP, there's a 60% chance that the character's Vitality will increase.
Magic increase: When a character restores more than 50% of his/her MP, there's a 60% chance that the character's Magic will increase.
Speed increase: When a character flees a battle, there's a 30% chance that the character's Speed will increase.
The nature of this system allows you to plan a bit ahead when it comes to building your stats.
Magic system
Everybody has the ability to cast white and black magic. To obtain these two spell schools, you will need to buy special items called Cryna Orbs from item stores for 100 Gil apiece. Then, engage in an enemy encounter. When you use a Cryna Orb, it will be thrown into the air and there's a 25% chance that the orb will absorb Magic Wisdom from the enemy party. If it fails, the orb shatters.
After you have obtained the wisdom orb, use it on a party member, and that party member will permanently learn the magic.
Trade system
You will come across occasional people with green bags. These call themselves Barters, and are more than willing to trade items with you.
You may often pick up or steal items from enemies which are called "TradeItems" in the description. These items are of great value to Barters, although KioSen can use them in battle. When you select an item, the Barter will show a list of items you can trade your TradeItems for, and how many TradeItems they want. If you have enough of the TradeItems, you will trade the items.
Summoning
This game features creatures called Dainsevs, which can be called upon in times of need. Every party member can summon these entities. When you find a Dainsev, you must equip it to someone. Dainsevs occupy the bottom slot of the equipment screen. When a character has equipped a Dainsev, he/she may now call upon it in battle, but equipping Dainsevs results in losses of a certain statistic. There are 18 Dainsevs in total.
Desperation Attacks
Like in Final Fantasy VI, this game has a system called Desperation Attacks. Each character has a Desperation Attack. They can only be accessed when a character's HP are below 5% of maximum, and even then the chance is 5%, but when you get them, use them, as they'll be gone next round.
Plasma Disk: Deren's Desperation Attack makes him leap into the air, then dive down behind an enemy, firing a disk of energy while flashing in several different colors.
Graviton Cannon: Motor's Desperation Attack sees her enter a big turret which fires a huge energy beam at the enemy.
Angel Wings: Lisbeth's Desperation Attack makes her fly on top of the screen and grow wings. This skill fully heals the party.
Final Slots: Ibis' Desperation Attack allows him to activate a giant slot machine, which grants him a random quantity of a random powerful medicine item.
Twilight: Ellana's Desperation Attack makes her strike the enemy normally, but then she starts glowing purple and bursts through the enemy.
Feral Rave: Fuban's Desperation Attack lets him go invisible and strike the enemy three times. This is the most damaging of all Desperation Attacks.
Box of Toys: KioSen's Desperation Attack lets him drop several items on the enemy, including PuPus, Chocobos, small boats, teapots and balls, followed by an attack from his beaker.
