Points on RMXP Unlimited

How do I earn points on RMXPUnlimited?

Points are cumulated by making posts or starting topics on the forums. However there are various weights and minimum/maximum amount of Points that can earned per post.

The Points weight is set to 0.10. This means that for every character that a member types in the post, the member will earn 0.10 of a point. The formula is a simple one:

Points Weight x Characters = Points Earned

For example, a member makes a post containing 65 characters.
65 x 0.10 = 6.5
The Points Earned total is 6.5.

The minimum points a member can earn is 1 and the maximum is 10. This means that if a member posts very little or a very large amount, the formula will not apply and that member will either receive 1 Point or 10 Points.

What can I use the Points for?

At the moment there is no real use for the Points on RMXPUnlimited, apart from the prestige of earning them.

However there are plans for a shop system amongst other systems in the future in which the Points will act as a currency.

What is Post Integrity?

Post Integrity is a number, between 0 and 10, calculated from a formula to give your average points earned per post. The formula is: (Total Points) divided by (Total Posts) starting from 28 August 2009. The points system was installed approximately on the 28th of August 2009, so we count your posts since that date(for those who were active on the forums before the points system was installed).
